That's maybe the only good thing about living in the woods..no porch pirates too far from the main road.. Did have an animal try to get in a box..Don't think it was a racoon there was no booze in the box..LOL

No problem in our semi-rural area.Most people have cameras, but we don't. I tell my neighbor if I'm expecting a package while we are gone for a few days.

You bet they are. Philly has as many cockroaches as it has thieves. Last spring I launched myself right onto a guy in the midst of trying to walk off with my delivery. My husband had to intervene JUST SO HE COULD LIVE TO SEE ANOTHER DAY! I guess I took it too far. Fortunately the pirate and I were no worse for the wear.

Our 'driveway' is a thousand feet long and actually a single lane, curvy gravel roadway. . . no one comes down here to check for a package on our porch.

Unfortunately, my community has a problem with porch pirates. Even our Police Commissioner was a victim of this type of crime.

Not that I'm aware of.  I try to be home for all deliveries, but also have 4 cameras on the front of my house.
