I have had Popeye's chicken a long time ago; I think there are a couple of them in my town but I remember the chicken as greasy and heavy and loaded with hot spices. Nothing I would ever wait an hour for....am sure the lines will be gone once the novelty of the place is over.

I don't care for it. I prefer KFC.

Just had them a few days ago. Prefer them over all the other ones. That being said, steak N shake opened up here over a year ago and we avoided it for about 6 months due to long lines. It was really not worth it then either.

The Popeyes in NJ are awful.

Ours used to be good, especially if you like your chicken hot. The slaw was good and their biscuits too. Unfortunately, there were quite a food in the urban area that closed because of blight. The only suburban one left can be good but it's on trial and error basis.

Years ago I would drive from Valencia to Pasadena to eat at Popeyes. I loved their food. Haven't been there in a long time.

Popeyes as in the chicken restaurant? If so, I love their extra crispy spicy chicken breast. {#emotions_dlg.tt1}

I am not that impressed with Popeye's. Their food is definitely edible, but not something I would crave. I would order chicken tenders from Hardees before I would make a trip to Popeye's.

I always get the spicy chicken sandwich at Wendy's. That's good too!
