LOVE LOVE LOVE Popcorn--
I also like Pretzels---Snyders flavored pretzel bits in jalepeno and buffalo wing flavors are a favorite.....
pistachios, walnuts, almonds, cashews, peacans, brazil nuts, and regular peanuts---love them all
I have to admit I'm a potato chip addict---all kinds! I have to limit myself to a small bag....
Snackin' KItties!!!

Yes, yes, yes to all of it! Popcorn, crackers, potato chips, Doritos, Fritos, Cheetos . . . all of the "eatos!" I cannot keep it in my house, because I will not "keep" it in my house. I love anything with salt. Sometimes I'll even sprinkle a little salt into the palm of my hand and eat that. I keep walnuts and almonds around for snacking on, and I don't really snack after dinner. But if the stuff is here, I will eat it until it's gone or I explode, whichever comes first.

Re: the thread title and salty crispy snacks, I have to add tortilla chips (not Dorito's) to the list.
But I also like popcorn (whole grain, high in antioxidants), potato chips, and Triscuit crackers.
Crunching is kind of a stress reliever for me, and the salt (preferably sea - lower sodium & richer taste) feels nice on my tongue, LOL.
Pretzels have been my fave since childhood, though.
Gotta recommend 'Utz Multigrain Sourdough Specials', especially - low fat like regular but higher in fiber and protein. Great texture also.
Sorry; super-wordy and TMI this evening!

Lays potato chips, Fritos, air-puffed Cheetos, shrimp chips, popcorn, apple & peanut butter, yogurt and yogurt drinks, peanuts and pistachios in the shell. I'm not really a hard pretzel person, though I like the big soft pretzels but more as a meal - too big for a snack.

Can't buy chips because I'd eat them all. The bars I like are called Goodness Knows.

I must say ..... this thread was a real shocker. I didn't realize people ate so much "kwap" between meals! Empty calories, excessive salt and fat ..... and none of them are the least bit healthy!
As kids, we were raised to believe that if it isn't healthy ... don't put it in your mouth! When I came home from school, there was always fruit and stuffed celery sticks. The celery sticks were stuffed with cream cheese, peanut butter and sometimes tuna salad. While my mom wasn't a fan of eating between meals, she allowed a healthy snack while we were doing our homework.
If you're having enough food at each of your meals, why do you even need to snack on non-food? JMO

I LOVE potato chips, but I try and stay away from them. I definitely can't eat just one. I also found a popcorn that is addictive to me -- again, I don't have it very often. It is G. H. Cretors Chicago Mix (or The Mix). It is caramel corn and cheddar corn mixed together. The first time my husband wanted to buy it, I thought -- yuck! Boy, was I wrong. It is DELICIOUS!!!!

I try to stay away from that big bag at Costco!
