Police Chief in Peachtree Ga shoots his wife

In the back when moving a gun THAT WAS IN THEIR BED! Another "responsible" gun owner. Would love to see what the NRA has to say about this shooting.

The guns now-a-days must be touch sensitive...........similar to the two-year old's gun, I'm guessing. Maybe the guns should be harder to pull the trigger and sh**t. Which would prevent accidental sh**tings, etc.

This doesn't sound like an accident nor does the NRA have to issue a statement every time a gun is discharged in this country imho.

Why was there a gun in the bed?

He said he shot twice, but only one bullet hit her. They divorced many years ago...and just reunited. LOTS of red flags and raised eyebrows with this. A policeman's service gun NEVER 'just goes off'.

Very strange imo that he sounded so matter of fact when he reported it.

You can hear his wife moaning in the background, but what I heard never had him saying anything to her.

no it doesn't............it was a 9mm which is odd because, at least here on the West Coast, a 40cal. is the preferred by law enforcement..........at any rate, with a 9mm, you're looking at a semi-automatice, but with a probable tigger pull of about 5-6 lbs............something smells fishy...................................................raven

Sorry that I'm not informed on this one, but did his wife live?

I'm curious about the two-year-old. Wouldn't it be very difficult to pull the trigger and sh**t? I obviously don't know a thing about g*ns...........
