I sent an email to Kimberly Clark, the maker of this product telling them I consider it to be in poor taste...or worse. Here is the reply I got.
"Thank you for contacting us about the television commercial for POISE® liners. I’m sorry that you were disappointed with the advertisement.
Comments, such as yours, help us to better understand how people feel about our advertising. Our research has shown that women are most receptive to messages that take a lighthearted approach to light bladder leakage. By using this approach, it helps to normalize and discuss a condition that some women shy away from. Even so, your opinion is important to us and we will share your remarks with those involved in developing our advertising programs.
Thank you again for contacting us. We appreciate your interest in our products.

Do you find this to be a satisfactory response?

Well there's a light hearted approach and then there's vulgar

I just watched it on YouTube....curious to see what all the hub-hub was. Meh. Surprised....it's being made like it's a direct cut out of ""Caligula"" or something. =:0

Sheesh -- with so many problems in the world, seemingly mature adults have nothing better to do than whine about a bladder control ad.

I suppose with all of the discussion some people expected n*ked dancing girls or something.
And, indeed there are many other problems in the world to be concerned about. Perhaps we should never post here at all on any subject? That also takes time away from the important items of the day.
The OP was offended by the ad as many have been and took the appropriate action. IMHO of course.
Now....off to see if I can sign up someplace to take over for Mother Teresa

Wow, you got a response...impressive!

To the OP ..... what does ""SAM"" mean?
