Because pockets should be honored and celebrated.  We need them for the falling stars we catch and save for a rainy day!

Hm, what have I missed?  I've yet to hear any hosts breaking out in song about pockets. Can you dance to it, lol?

I love pockets.  Love them. I am a pocket girl.  They have to be done right.  My Zella have to have pockets.  And most tops.  I do not like side pockets on pants. But I wear Zella pants. Capris length and 7/8 when I wear pants. I also am a skirt person or dress  person.  All casual. I might add I am retired so I am at home , out back , on errands or at doctors, lol.
My ideal casual look at home is comfort.  I love a good sustainable cotton dress, below knew or midi, with front pockets  3/4 sleeve or long sleeve.  When I am outside in the California sun I have to keep my arms out of sun as I get those awful bruise looking things the doctors refer to as " senile purpura"How rude!

It's a "red alert" for me ....  I don't like/want pockets.

Because there are times the pockets aren't really obvious and some of us don't want to buy whatever unless it has pockets.  I know I recently bought a pair of D&C capris specifically because I wanted pockets so that when I went out to walk I could easily carry ID, keys, a tissue, and my phone.

I don't buy ANY type of shorts, or pants without pockets.  Ever.

I know I have said this before, but I think it bears repeating:

Pockets aren't just a "convenience"; it's personal safety for women.  I attended an excellent women's self-defense & safety class years ago, and one of the presenters was a top detective in the city.

He said:  NEVER put your car keys in your purse.  ALWAYS put them in your pockets!

Reason:  If your purse is ever stolen and the thief has your wallet and all your ID in your purse ... and probably your phone ... they can drive to your home and they have your keys to get in.  You are without a purse, and can't even drive your own car home.  They have a head start on burglarizing your home.

Okay, situations vary, but you get the idea.  Never put your keys in your purse, so your pants or jacket should always have pockets.

Nice to be validated. I've been going on about keeping keys in one's pocket for years. If you carry a weapon, that shouldn't be in your purse or car either.
