@monicakm et al, this dementia thing is so hard.  My sister has just been diagnosed in early stages Alzheimer's but she is in complete denial.  She is still living independently but I don't think that will last long.

 

Saying prayers for all of you dealing with this.  It is not easy.  I lost one of my sisters at 59 to early onset Alzheimer's.

@monicakm My thoughts and prayers are with you.  I haven't read all of the posts, but if your mom is still not eating, get her into hospice care.  My MIL had dementia and lasted for about 9 months without eating anything substantial, but hospice was able to make her more comfortable and give accurate updates about her condition.  Best Wishes!
