@monicakm My heart breaks for what you are going through.  My mother had dementia and she died 5 days after my dad at 95.  I will pray that God wraps his loving arms around you and your family in your time of need and comforts you through all that you are facing.

I'm so sorry to hear about your parents. 

I've had to deal with dementia in other family members over the years, and it's really difficult to watch them decline with age because you love them. 

It's also really hard being targeted by their anger.

They don't seem to understand that all that you're trying to do is to love them, care for them, and help them. 

Although it seems like it, their anger towards you is not personal towards you in particular. It just gets to the point where they're not even really aware of what they're doing or saying anymore, but that anger is still really hurtful.

Sending you hugs and prayers for comfort, support, and strength in this difficult time.
