I am at my wit's end. My dog just had surgery and he has three medications to take. I have tried hiding it in soft dog food (he won't eat it), small pieces of meat which he usually won't turn down but he must smell the medication. He does not like peanut butter so I can't try that. I don't know what to do. My husband is out of town and I just picked up my dog so I'm along in trying to do this. I have to carry him up and down the stairs because he can't strain himself, and he hates being picked up so that's another struggle. He is also supposed to wear a collar so that he does not lick the incision and all's he has done is cry. I feel like I'm going to lose my mind. I want to help him but ....
Any suggestions on the pills. That's important that he takes them.
