Please help - How to you stop a male dog from lifting it's leg in the house???

I just got a dog, don't know how old, and no, he is not fixed. Me and my family are on a trial run to see if he works with our family. I love everything about him, but he lifts his leg quite a bit in the house. How do you break a dog of doing this?? If I end up keeping him, we will have him fixed, but not sure it will help, since he is already in the habit of it. Please help! thank you
