Please explain Netflix.

So after seeing the blu ray dvd player on Q that had all the extras, I asked DH dont we have all that stuff on our newer tv? Yep we do, we have Netflix, and all access to all the stuff Q had on the blu ray as in our tv IS a smart tv. Well we have never tried Netflix. So I assume, but dont know; If we get Netflix is it like 10 bucks a month and then we can use it on our computers AND our tv by signing in to our account, in that we can watch whatever on both systems? And is it worth it? Are even HBO and Cinemax shows on Netflix? (we have HBO now for their 1/2 price trial but are thinking of getting Netflix later on when this runs out).
