Please Please Read and Give Your Suggestions

I need some advice and suggestions please.

The situation is: I went for an eye exam recently where I had not been before. I liked the people working, the doctor, the place.

I got a pair of glasses that I like. I also got a pair of prescription sunglasses that I liked at the time, at the office there, where I tried them on for a few minutes. I decided I wanted them and a week later they came in. I picked them up and wore them a couple of times and they were/are awful!

They hurt the bridge of my nose and the entire area behind my ears yet the are not tight behind my ears at all. They feel heavy on my face and nose etc. They are not huge or way oversize at all.

WELL here I go thinking I could return for something else since I have been able to do that at all other optical offices before. They are saying their Lab wont allow it unless there is something wrong with the glasses themselves like a defect PLUS I could exchange them IF I pay another $90!!! As in I would pay for one new lense and they would pay for the other if I picked a new frame.

I just spent $300 for these sunglasses which are absolutely not working for me at all. I cannot in any way pay that much more or any more and I feel I should not have to.

There was no sign about the Lab Policy nor was I told about it.

I am so mad and frustrated and they have re-adjusted these a few times already. If they loosen them any more they will fall off my face totally and as of now they adjusted them to day and they wont stay on my face YET the other issues I described are still a problem.

I am just not sure what to do. I cannot just eat the money and say oh well I just wont wear them. Im afraid I will burst into tears in the office when I go back to try to get something done about them.

I would think a place like that would want a patient to be happy with their glasses!!!

Please can you tell me what to try and what you would do??? Thank you.
