Hi Everyone -
I'd call my vet for this question, but I know he isn't in tomorrow and I feel like I should get the answer to this sooner or later. Since my dog had surgery 3 weeks ago, I stopped giving him his glucosamine because I didn't want to upset his tummy. Now here's my "problem": When I started him on the glucosamine about a year and a half ago, we, on the advice of our vet, doubled the amount for the first few weeks and then moved to just one pill a day. Since he hasn't had a pill in 3 weeks, do I now need to double-dose again for the first few weeks or can I just continue with the one a day? I'm hoping someone who reads this may have experience with this. Thanks so much for reading - and for always being there to listen and offer advice
