I adopted a Great Pyrnnes Lab Mix almost 2 years ago and he is the sweetest most loving dog ever,,,,,,,,,,,,however he has a weird thing with food, we have to coax him to eat every day and sometimes have to cave in and mix an egg or a little youghurt in his food so he will eat.
Boomer is 135 ponds and very active loves treats and walks and has normal bathroom routines, I took him to the vet months ago when this 'i don't wanna eat " problem popped up and he was given a total exam and proclaimed to be in perfect health the vet told me his breed tends to be "maniulpative" so my DBF has taken that to heart he is harder on the dog than I am the minute he won't eat I am begging and pleading and bribing him with treats to get him to eat, DBF just says "fine don't eat, don't care" and walks away.
I am at my wits end and we are starting to argue over this issue with the dog, I just don't know how to get this animal to eat normally and he did not act like this toward food when I first got him.
Please help me any tips or advice....
Thanks so Much
