Please Add Another Step to Automatic Ordering!!!!

I appreciate the opportunity to use automatic ordering most of

the time.  And I use this more than any other means of buying.

However, I wish they would add one more step, whether Q Card of another option.  Before you finish your order, I would like the option to choose whether or not I want Easy Pay.  Since you don't have the option I end up with Easy Pays I didn't want.

QVC, can't you add this? It might make others happy as well.  I often order at night when others are sleeping and don't want to talk with a customer service person.

You don't say how you place your order.  I place my orders online using a tablet or laptop, and I can specify if I want to contine with the speed order which will use a default credit card and gives easy pay.

I can customize the order (you are given a box to check) and then different cc's can be used, easy pay or not, mail to a different address, etc.

If you are using the phone and don't want to speak, that's the way the speed order goes.  It's speedy, no options.

Or maybe as a customer we could "opt out" of easy pay.  I agree, sometimes I have to call CS and ask them to go through and "fix my purchases.

@Perkup  You can go to "order status" after you place your order and do an "edit" on the payment to not use easy pay or to change method of payment.  I find it often defaults, not to the last CC I used like it's supposed to do, but to a card I don't want to use.  So I change it.

Re: Please Add Another Step to Automatic Ordering!!!!

I almost always start with the phone for my orders, but when they are busy I use auto-ordering or whatever it's called and they always ask whether I want the available options.  I always take them because I pay off my CC as soon as the bill arrives, so I take the float on my money.  I know right now, the float is close to wporthless, but whatever it amounts to, it's stil my money.

I have no idea what happens if I reject all the available options.

I use automated ordering all the time and if EP is available on the item I can choose to use it or not.You should read before you click - the option is there.

It is at the top of the screen where you say what method of payment you want to use.

@151949  I believe perkup is talking about ordering by phone where the option is not given.

The OP s correct, there isn't an option to opt out of easy pay when using automated ordering.

One idea has already been posted.  Another one is, when you receive your item, like it and decide to keep it, pay it on full. Pay it on line or call Customer Service.

I always order on line except a few weeks ago when the Q site wasn't responsive.

Re: Please Add Another Step to Automatic Ordering!!!!

I always order with automatic ordering on the phone.

If you go all the way through the call it will say "do you want to do blah, blah, blah or do you want step by step ordering. If you choose the later you get a chance to opt out of easy pay. It is a pain in the neck, but that's what I have to do every time.
