Re: Planning our 50th Anniversary party

Liney, on the subject of decorations, you can go on Amazon, also orientaltrading.com and partycity.com They have lots of "milestone" themed party goods from banners, centerpieces, plates, cups and even boxes made up with everything needed for a party of 10, 20 etc.. They are reasonably priced and many can be personalized if you get them a month or so ahead.

Re: Planning our 50th Anniversary party

you have all been so helpful and I can't thank you enough. I made a scrapbook for our 30th anniversary and want to incorporate that in our 50th celebration along with our wedding album. I think we found a small restaurant that holds about 50 people but we are not expecting that many. We know the owners so we went to talk to them last night. She said she will give us a price in a few days and she also makes cakes if I want to buy it from her. She said she could match it to the one on our wedding day. I am so excited even though it is months away. My husband and I were childhood sweet hearts and knew each other since we were at least 5 years old and road the same school bus and were childhood sweethearts. We always do everything together and just enjoy each others company and our love grows stronger each day. Thanks for your input.
