I had students named Nebraska and  Zaire.

 

I went to high school with a Capri. Her mother honeymooned in Italy.

I don't like that many that are wildly popular today.  But have a few :

 

Always loved the place name "India" for a girl--  esp. popular in Britain--  designer India Hicks, etc.

 

And "Israel" for a boy--  nice alternate to Jacob.   It's both a proper name, and a place name.

 

And, "Blyth",  "Trinidad",  "Brighton",  "Lincoln" (of course, it's also a history name),  "Sutton",  "Porthallow" (Cornish place name),  "Afton.
