I know this doesn't help the OP, but I live in rural Georgia. I've had nothing but good luck with Wal Mart this past year. This is saying something when I say that Wal Mart has far surpassed the efficiency of Kroger.
I find myself more often than not checking Wal Mart before going to Amazon these days.
Same here. I ordered from Kroger a few times, I always sat and waited for a long time before they brought my order. The last straw was when I showed up and they said my order was not ready. I went home and waited for their call and had to drive there a second time. Walmart never even makes me wait more than a minute.

@Foxxee Yes THIS ... THEY NEED TO FIX IT.
You said:
A Walmart supervisor said all taxes are sent to the states, so Walmart isn't stealing it. It sounds like a glitch in their system or the IT dept is too lazy to fix it.

My first call would be to my state's taxation and revenue department to see if there was some glitch in the state law that would cause them to tax my merchandise.

I've ordered from Walmart's website and never had problems. My orders have arrived in a week or 8 days at the latest. The products have been good quality, so haven't had to return anything.
I haven't ordered food items, have no idea how that works. Maybe it depends on the item ordered and the area where one lives.

i've only made one order and it was fine. Our secondary medicare ins. is Priority health and they give us $75.00 every 3 mons. for health and beauty and some grocery items. Last month, i ordered heating pad, vits and claritin. they all came on time and in good condition. i'm in MI, if that would make any difference.

UPDATE ON MY THREAD. @Kachina624
here is the response I received after emailing CEO Doug McMillon of Walmart. So I might just try ordering the almond milk one more time to see if it has been fixed. When I do I will let you know. I guess it pays to send an email to the big shot LOL!

When I need something, I check Amazon and Walmart, and get the least expensive, though at times, the cost is the same, but there seems to be no two-day delivery any longer at Walmart. Recently, I wanted a rice blend that I use. Walmart was only in store pick up, forget that, and at Amazon, one has to be Prime member, forget that. I decided to look at Target online, Target had it, so will be looking there more often.

@SeaMaiden lol. What kind of idiot would classify almond milk as a vitamin?

Tried Walmart for one grocery order. Never again! The quality was horrible as were the choices. I will gladly pay more for my food to get items that aren’t garbage. My local Walmart must be pretty bad. I’m not sorry over it because Walmart is one of my least favorite retailers. LOL.
@bikerbabe I've been getting my groceries from Walmart pick up for almost 4 years and I can assure you that I eat very well, certainly not garbage. I'm so glad they're in my neighborhood, less than a mile away. Very handy for just about all my needs.
