Re: Pilot Locked out of Cockpit on Fatal Flight....

If that or something else happened wouldn't you think that passengers would be on their cells calling the airline, relatives ?

Looks like they were in a pretty remote area, not certain there was coverage.

Since they were flying into the Alps perhaps there was no signal? I wondered about that and I haven't read or heard any news regarding that.

I sincerely hope this doesn't have to do with an act of terrorism. If the pilot just wanted to commit suicide, it makes me sick to think that he took all the rest of those people down with him ultimate tragedy. I'll be interested to see what they find in the next few days/weeks.

Doesn't sound like they had a lot of time to think about getting on their phones.

I'm thinking the co-pilot had a heart attack.

I think they said the plane was descending in an orderly way...probably no reason to panic.

That wouldn't explain why the FA couldn't open the door or the even descent of the plane.

A lot of Europeans have satellite cell phones...they don't need towers to be connected.

The pilot shouting and banging on the cockpit door would be reason to panic.
