Picture of Credit Card Reader Skimmers

Something sent this to me, and I thought it was interesting.  This shows two credit card readers and you can tell the one that has a skimmer to steal your card number by noticing that it sticks out beyond the "frame"of the reader.  Always check to see if the reader is solidly attached, and if it is loose, don't use it.

I actually found one at our local service station and notified the manager, who called the police.

 

Now, I always check out the card reader first!

You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

Yes, the skimmer stuck out farther than usual, but when you looked at it from the side, you could tell that the skimmer was attached on top of the original slot to scan your card.

 

It wasn't loose though, it just looked odd.

I saw something similar to this on Facebook and now I check every time I'm at the ATM.  Very good information and easy enough to check!
