At one time Phyllis George co-hosted shows on QVC where they sold crafted items from Appalachia. The shows seem to have occured frequently and were very popular as there was some very nice merchandise. For years people rued their end.

My first memory of her was as Kentucky's First Lady and later her work to promote the artisans of the state. A lovely lady. May she rest in peace.

Her grandchildren are so young...I am sure her family misses her. She was a beautiful and talented woman!
