Hi circles, I believe the Cosby Show was pulled.

Why would her response shock anyone? She's known the man for many, many years. If she herself has never witnessed his alleged behavior and if she herself never heard of such behavior....how could she react otherwise???? It's not like any of the stories were credible. There was no proof, just allegations that were made decades after the alleged incidents. And no charges have been filed. So, I would expect her to be supportive of Cosby and his wife.

I guess she is as entitled to her opinion as the next person.
Seeing everything crumble must be very hard on her too. The Huxtables were America's TV family for a very long time.
I don't know why she would think there would be a large conspiracy to keep Mr. Cosby off TV. It's hard to say but that seems a strange comment to make.

The conspiracy theory statement makes her looks kinda/sorta crazy. Yes, she's entitled to her opinion, but as her publicity agent, I would make her stay quiet...very quiet. Her 'positive' words don't offer anything to currently help him...and, at the end of the day, he's positively accused of something, her words will come back to haunt her. Just.Stay.Quiet.

Sill just allegations or is there absolute proof?

Not shocked.
IMO if she had doubts about Cosby she would have spoken up months ago.

Since I think most of us know this stuff has been going on for decades (I've known about it for as long as I can remember), I think it's safe to say that he was very good at compartmentalizing his life.
That's not an unusual concept for some people. They can section off their job and their home life from another life entirely. It's not surprising at all.
I wouldn't be surprised if Ms Rashad knew him as a good guy when they worked together. Why not? Only a fool would be groping the women at work and drugging them. He's not going to do that stuff at work unless he's allowed himself to just get totally sloppy.
One of several personal examples I can think of with somebody compartmentalizing their life was with Jim Jones. When I was a kid and went to his church he seemed like a very nice man to me. He wasn't abusing me, like most of the adults in my young life, so he seemed perfectly nice. Then he went on to wreak havoc and kill quite a lot of people. All I knew was the nice man who didn't abuse me in any way.

I haven't bothered to read what she said but if she's insinuating it's a conspiracy theory then she's got no credibility and is talking pretty stupid.

(chickenbutt, what a life you've led!)
