I sometimes think the products made for the demonstrations - are of a better quality than the ones being sold. When they put stains on the items --- they're obviously stains that will come out easily --- rather than the harsh, dried stains most people have.

Years ago I knew a girl who was used as a hair model for a particular vendor on HSN. She had naturally GLORIOUS hair!
Before the presentation, lots of various products were put into her hair, & then it was styled to be flat & frizzy.
On camera, the vendor would whip out his signature spritz & curling iron, do a bit of styling & fluffing & voila! Absolutely gorgeous hair.
But what he was doing in actuality was refreshing all of the stuff that he'd already worked into her hair.
Plus, she had great hair to begin with!

@chiclet To get rid of stains on concrete, pour bleach straight from the bottle on it, let it sit a couple of minutes, then hose off.
