I hate it when I start getting the newspaper delivered, every day.

I am not sure how I got on the list but it's very frustrating to have to go out and get the paper every day. I finally started letting them pile up, so my nice neighbors kept bringing them up to my doorstep!

was hoping the delivery guy would get the message I don't want the paper! This happens about twice a year and it's so annoying and I've tried calling, etc. this time when neighbors put them on my front steps I took them back out to the curb. I think the delivery person finally got the message because there was about seven newspapers piled up there.

I get those but they are all various businesses.

They are supposed to be A plus businesses but I see it as businesses who could afford to pay for the advertising.

I still keep the newest one(s) because I might be interested one day.

The yellow pages usually have coupons that are potentially useful - plumbers, HVAC, electrical, auto repair etc.

I don't even remember the last time I used a phone book, let alone got one.

I would love to receive a current usable phonebook. Unfortunately the only ones that have appeared on my porch in recent years are "yellow pages" of only those vendors who wish to pay and no fully accurate residential/business listings.
