What are phonebooks?  Seriously I haven't seen one in years.  Does anyome remember back in the day when the phone book came checking to make sure their name and number were in there?  Today, unless I recognize the name on caller ID I let it go right to voive mail.

Where I am they still distribute them but it says in the book (and on an enclosed card) that, if you do not want to receive a phonebook in the future to contact (xxxx) and gives a number to call.  However, if you just toss the book without ever looking at it, you wouldn't know that.

I get one of these "yellow pages" every year and it goes in the recycle can. In my area this is not the same yellow pages we used to get. Our directory is from a private company that sells ads to businesses to advertise with them. It's small and only includes a fraction of the businesses in a specific category.
