Petsmart Goodies for Charity!

Hello wonderful pet lover friends and furbabies,

I hope that all is well with everyone. My continued prayers to those recovering from Sandy and others needing prayer!{#emotions_dlg.wub}

I wanted to share with y'all (my southern accent shines through) the goodies that I got from Petsmart today. My dh and I have collected their dated pet ornaments for several years. In fact, one of our small trees is always completely decorated with them each year. Today, dh went in to get our annual ornament. He purchased the dachshund ornament in memory of sweet Heidi. He said that there are many dog breeds represented (I believe cats, too). They also have "Chance" the dog and "Lucky" the cat ornaments and plush animals. The plush animals are fairly large and cost $5. The ornaments are around $8 but if you have a pet perks card, it costs $5. 10% of the profits of these items go to charities that support homeless animals.

With the holidays approaching, these may be great gifts for your own home or for others. Plush "Chance" is super soft and he squeaks!
