Pet lovers please help me....new puppy

Hi everyone,

I'm usually on the beauty board but most recently i have been reading here. I have a new lab puppy (already totally in love) and my declawed cat keeps swatting at him. The pup wont even walk around the cat becaue he is so frightened of him now. He isnt doing anything to the cat. I love them both but I wont let the cat bully the pup. Please tell me what to do..

Should I quarantine the cat to the garage and basement?
