Re: Pet Peeve! What's yours?

I didn't think I had any until I read all of these and agreed with most of them!!!

But I do have one more.  Glass or platic food jars that have sealed on paper/plastic under the tops.  They have three little tabs or one tab on the top and inevitably the tab rips off and your left with the seal still on.  Esp the jars of peanut butter.  They never, ever peel off completely.  You pull one tab and it rips down the center.  Ugh!!!!!

People that invade my personal bubble of space when I am standing at a check out line in the grocery store.  They keep nudging the cart closer and closer and most times end up hitting me in the butt with it.

I drink regular black coffee.

However, it seems I am always behind the person who needs the WHOLE coffee menu explained to them.

People who do not put their buggies in parking lots in the proper place once they have been emptied.  I put mine up rain or shine and have no problem going to one left behind by someone still sitting in their car and have them watch me do it.

One lady even had two very grown teenage children with her and she still left the cart next to her car.

Re: Pet Peeve! What's yours?

My biggest pet peeve is people parking in the handicapped spots reserved for those who reallyl do need it. Or using the electiric battery operated carts in the stores when they don't need them. I walk with a cane and just can barely walk into the grocery store and if there is no cart I need a place to sit while I am waiting for one.  I saw two women who worked at t he nursing home where my  mom was a resident go into Walmart and both get on the carts to shop on when I didn't get one to use. I know they didn't need them. I saw a car full of teenagers park in a handicapped spot too. Maybe one of those had a handicap but I don't think so the way they ran into the store.

@beckyb1012  Can I just say how adorable it is that you refer to shopping carts as "buggies."  I've never heard that before.  What part of the country are you from?  I think the Brits refer to them as "trollies" across the pond.  Smiley Happy  These kinds of things amuse and interest me, what can I say...
