Re: Pet Peeve! What's yours?

People that are cruel to animals.

Here it's people, the usuals, that are always hating on Wen. Often using the same comments. If you don't like it it's not like you're going to convince anyone that does. I don't get it. I wish the haters would get a new cause such as neglected pets in their neighborhood and really make a difference in life instead of bashing a product in a forum. Wen Haters: just don't click on the Wen posts and go outside and feed a stray cat instead. You'll feel better not hating.

However, it seems I am always behind the person who needs the WHOLE coffee menu explained to them.

And then proceed to pay with some clunky smart phone app rather than whip out a $5 bill!

@gardenslaOMG YES! Clearly, you've been in the same line!

Hey!  You talkin' about me?  YES you are!  I always pay with a phone app or a credit or store card because I HATE digging around for change and have it rattling around in my handbag.  AND, since I don't go in these coffee shops very often I am ignorant--and when I go there, I have to figure out what size is what and explain I want half coffee, half MILK and a cup with a lot of ice in it.  No, I do not want flavorings, no I do not want soy milk, no I do not want a quart cup.  I want coffee, MILK and Ice in a cup that is smaller than my head.

So next time, say "hi" to me!  LOL!!!!

In real life it's people who are always late.

Here it's posters who are always right about everything.

There are a LOT of them who post here. Would love to name names, but you know what would happen if I did.

Woman LOL

Minimal on my list compared to people who abuse animals - posters who SAY they don't name names, but who really DO, then post here to invite their friends to do it TOO!

too cheesy!

Whistlers in general don't bother me with the exception of one.  He is a family member and when he starts to whistle my ears start to bleed.

Re: Pet Peeve! What's yours?

I have quite a few but mine are the same as many here.

(1) People talking on cell phones at times and places where they shouldn't.  And being so loud and inconsiderate of others while doing so!

(2) Clerks at grocery stores who refuse to even acknowledge you and don't say thank you

(3) People coughing and sneezing and not properly covering their mouths and also disposing of their tissues

(4) Dishonest people.  I know you aren't telling the truth so just don't lie to me!

(5) People who are always late.  When you make plans, please don't always leave me sitting and waiting.

(6)  Doctors who are never on time with your appointments.  I don't mind waiting 15, 20 minutes.  But 45 minutes, an hour and more -- that's very rude.

(7) Relatives/friends who don't even acknowledge you or say hello or how are you when you enter a room.

(8) People who never acknowledge wedding or shower gifts.

(9) Saying please and thank you.  Common courtesy should not be outdated.

(10)  People -- young or old -- using cell phones and other electronic devices at the dinner table

Re: Pet Peeve! What's yours?

Mothers who are seemingly oblivious (often because they are texting or talking on their phone) to their child who is acting out much like a screaming banshee in a public place.
