Pet Peeve...UGH

I have been invited to two parties lately. One is a Pampered Chef party and one a Mary Kay Party.

My pet peeve is that i never hear from the people who invited me. I mean NEVER hear from them until now.

I personally wouldn't have the guts to send an invite to someone that I normally don't bother contacting. Am I the only one who thinks this is rude?

Yes, I know. I don't have to attend and I'm not going to but it just rubbed me the wrong way when someone I never hear from all of a sudden invites me to a party involving stuff they're selling.
