My God, what some of you dear people are going through! This is why I donate to food pantries, homeless people, various charities, etc. It's all I can do -- I'm in not such good shape myself, but nothing like that.
I'll praying for you and keep on donating as much as I can, in your honor. God bless you all! ![]()

@gidgetgh My heart goes out to you both. I hope the hospital can send him home feeling like his previous self if not even better than. Take this time to try to take care, you must be quite drained.

You both are in my thoughts and heart. I read your OP a few times and it touched me deeply.

@gidgetgh So sorry to hear this. Am praying for you and your dear husband.
New medication can wreak havoc and UTI and other elimination problems--the bowels--can wreak havoc. (My Significant Other had dear older male friend who had this difficulty more than once for which he had to be hospitalized.)
Take care of yourself as best you can and be patient while the doctors trace what might be the cause of his distress.
With warm reggards,

@gidgetgh - I am so sorry you are going through this rough time. I don't know what state you're in, but it sounds like your DH is being cared for by great medical personnel. And how wonderful that you will be able to be with him tomorrow. I know from friends here that not being able to go into the hospital has been a huge weight on them.
You must be exhausted too. You will want to be with your DH as much as you can, but you have to take care of you too. Try to sleep when you have a chance too.
I know what you mean about people complaining about not being able to get a haircut or pedicure when you are worried about someone in ICU or someone on the front lines. I've been in that situation before and still am. When someone I'm talking to mentions that (usually on the phone), I just laugh and say yeah we all are. They probably don't know what's going on in my life. And sometimes I focus on something light like that too. I've been watching the same romcom over and over to just give me some peace. I also find watching QVC calming.
I am adding my prayers for you and your DH to the others here. It's really good that his chest xray is normal. Let's hope the doctors can find out what's going on, your DH can rest a while, and he can return home to you to recover in comfort. Please take care of yourself. (((HUGS)))
(@RedTop - your last paragraph said it all.)

@gidgetgh This is so heartbreaking. Prayers for both of you. Please try to rest. I can’t imagine the sadness of not being with him. I really appreciate that you could share with all of us. Hugs and blessings. So many posters here care for you and your situation you are dealing with. Sometimes we all need gentle reminders of what others face daily. Take care. Hugs! ((()))❤️❤️❤️
