@gidgetgh  My heart goes out to you both during this ordeal you're living through. I can't imagine the anxiety and confusion at this time.  I hope you have loving family and friends to lean on.  It's too hard to go it alone.

Oh gosh. Hugs and prayers to you. My mother just turned 90 and has been in and out of the hospital and rehab 4 times already this year. I only got to see her in the hospital when we thought she might not make it. I have a palliative nurse friend whom I consult with. She keeps reminding me that the whole body works together and something little that goes off kilter in one part of the body can have a big effect somewhere else. Sometimes it makes no sense to me. I think our bodies are a wonderful design. But by the same token, getting old and all that goes with it can be downright cruel. Blessings to you and your hubby. Take care of yourself too.

You're under stress #100 right now.  If I were in your shoes, I would stay away  from here for a couple of weeks.  Everyone is under some stress right now and to be fair to you, you need a quiet break and some peace and quiet.  I think your head is probably spinning.  Mine would be.  My vote would be for you to do a time out.  In fairness to you.

So glad you'll be able to visit him today!  Whisper in his ear that dozens if not hundreds of *women* are rooting for him to get better!  (I know that would make my husband happy.)

@gidgetgh

I just read your post and I pray you get to be with your dear husband and God will see you both thru this difficult time.  My prayers and thoughts are with you both🙏🏻🙏🏻

Your post was from the heart and a true eye opener.  We are all so busy "pointing fingers" with masks, social distancing, virus updates & worrying about our hair, nails, etc. then I read your post from the ❤️ -- those petty things don't matter in the grand scheme of life.

I hope you get good news & get to be with him.
