I think I would have called 911 for a check.You just never know these days what is going on.Think about the family of 13 children that were living in torture and how those neighbors feel now about minding their own business.

I wish I hadnt either.

I wish posters would keep these horrible, heartbreaking things to themselves.

As if watching the news wasn't enough for things we can't get out of our mind, even cry about, then its here too.

I give up.

At least put a warning or better yet, don't post it at all.

Why do people feel the need to share all the horrible things they read with eveyone?

If I read something sad, I don't tell my family or friends about it.

There are enough sad things for everyone to deal with then hearing about all the sad things everyone else hears about!

Its different if someone is posting about their own relative or pet and we send prayers and sympathy but to post about all the awful things we see or hear out in the world-its enough just to try to live our lives with still keeping hope and encouragement for ourselves and others.

I live in the real world, not an ideal world. I'm glad I read the post and learned from it. Some people need to grow up.

Some people need to grow up because they're sensitive to an animal being ritualistically tortured???  I don't think that's a fault.  Yes, I live in the real world, too, but I'm still sensitive to suffering by people and animals both.

@RetRN

Just because it's "the real world" doesn't mean that it's right and 'people need to grow up" and just accept it.

Glad you're a "retired" RN.

@RetRN

If "growing up" to you means you don't have feelings for other's suffering and cruelty, then I don't want to grow up! (And you shouldn't want to either)!
