Yes. I'm thrilled. The only reason I kept that stuff for so long was because I was afraid to throw it out.

It will be so nice to have more room once you get rid of everything you no longer need. Very nice gift.

I know the feeling, Ford. We still have our tax returns from the 80s! {#emotions_dlg.laugh} I really should add them to "the burn box" - we live in the country, so we burn our cardboard containers from the grocery store, instead of lugging them to the transfer station (dump).

I'm glad you enjoyed your Mother's Day with your daughter. Smile

Re: Perfect Mother's Day gift

I'm glad you had a great Mother's Day. Enjoy your new shredder! Shredding is one of my favorite things to do- LOL. We keep it right next to the kitchen trash bag and just about shrewd all "clean" paper and then recycle the shredded paper.

As others have mentioned, you need some sort of lubrication for the shredder. I used to use the oil, but have switched to lubricating sheets. If you look on Amazon and search "shredder lubricating sheets", you'll find them.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?
