I have everything through Comcast, only my cable was affected.  Land line and internet worked fine.

 

I've had Comcast for several years with minimal downtime for any of the three services.

@Caligurll Well, with all the "issues" with Comcast, who in their right mind would be beholden to them for  TV, Phone and Internet?  I call stupid is as stupid does. 


 

 

        I agree with @Caligurll.   You tried to personally insult an enormous group of people.   Many have only limited options in their geographic locale, many make choices because of financial or practical needs/decisions, in some areas the only other options are even less reliable than Comcast, and the list goes on.   Your attempt to demean others only casts a shadow on you and not on those you tried to discredit.Smiley

I'm east of the Rockies and Comcast was out all morning. In fact, my DH was watching Fox news and it went black. He really thought Comcast was doing it on purpose to him, lol!

 

Only the few local channels were working. 

 

All weekend, cable has been blinking off and on, no rhyme or reason.  It would come back on, then a few minutes later, go scrambled, go black, then a minute or so it would be back on. Frustrating to watch any program. It has done the same thing this afternoon, but not as much. Maybe they are still working on a problem.

LOL between the comcast problems, the qvc forum problems, and the snow and ice we have been getting today, my day has been an adventure since i woke up! Smiley Wink

So many people across the country experienced Comcast outages over the last few days.  I hope Comcast issues credits to compensate for this - the lost service and the inconvenience.  Maybe someone will start an online petition.

@goldensrbest Yes I am not getting all the channels ... the lower ones like CNN are out. I contacted them and they are experiencing an outage again. They started with the whole spiel ... did I try rebooting blah blah blah...and so I asked directly if they were experiencing outages related to the nationwide one yesterday. They said yes. I stated that I expected a refund/crredit and was told that I should call once it is restored and tell them how long ai was out for a credit to be issed. This was all via live online chat.
