Check your state's listings of workplace breakouts. That could be a clue to your region. Walmart and Amazon distribution centers have shown up on ours. And hospitals. If workplaces can't be made safe, the whole system won't function.

Who wants to live with more bad news every day. I was glad I was able to use all that flour for the church that I cook for. Thank you for bringing that up.
I'm tired of all these **** threads of shortages, panic buying instigation, think people just like to think they created it . Makes them feel superior.
You can't ignore them their in the **** forums each and every day.
'Panty shortages', no more panty buying, stock up now will be next.
Won't be able to buy a pair of drawers next. ROFL
I think the media likes to fuel the flame with BAD NEWS.....I even spotted a national news anchor with a sly smile as she reported it... And all this talk DOES lead to hoarding....you can read about it in some threads here ....and see it in TV interviews of shoppers....
And I'm tired of half truths being reported....not all areas in some states are spiking...like our county....but they include us in the "doom and gloom"....no way is any area going to have zero new cases or zero hospitalizations..(we came close one day there were only 43 new cases, now its averaging around 171 to 191 per day)...but it seems the good news is seldom reported...you have to research it on your own....![]()

Where they normally have it, they will get more. Where I live and it isn't sold, I get it when I can. Those folks will get more next week. I can't. I might be depriving someone that day, but I wouldn't be taking the last and only.
I'll stick up for Sharke on that one!

My point is don't beef about some complaints of shortages when you clear out all the White Lily at a Walmart in Indiana, depriving people who actually live there of getting that flour. I ordered White Lily from Walmart. It's available online. It doesn't seem to be in short supply. I look forward to doing biscuits with it this winter.
But I don't think it's seemly for someone who's going to another state and clearing shelves of a product that's in high demand to be complaining about other people posting about paper goods shortages. I see nothing to indicate that anyone here is doing "panic buying" and think the accusation is spurious.
If reading threads that are clearly titled to show they're about hoarding or shortages makes a person feel sick, that person shouldn't open those threads. Personal responsibility and all that jazz.

It is still napkins and paper plates here. Paper towels are not well stocked, but available. Toilet paper seems to have returned to normal.

No Bounty again. Had a long time before we saw it during the first pandemic. Came back strong. But now....hard to get. Trust me, I've tried. Last try at Amazon, company wrote back to say out of stock.

@shaggygirl. The shelves may have been cleaned out over the weekend and not yet restocked. Monday morning is the worst possible time to shop.

@ScrapHappy My Phx Costco was out of paper towels when I was there on Friday but they said they would be well stocked today (Monday)
