@Desertdi or his portfolio!

I would guess that in an effort to not "hurt feelings" that you're not being emphatic enough with your "NO".

Oh my gosh, I just got an email from the other single woman invited to the party. She must be being emailed about Mr. Perfect too. Her email was 3 words, bolded and underlined and in all caps.
OH, HELL NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@CrazyKittyLvr2 ..... Is that how she responded to the sister or how she just responded in the e-mail to you?

@Sheila P-Burg it was said to me, however, this woman is the definition of "don't poke the bear." I really like her and she is a hoot. I've seen her take a pushy/rude person on. She's good.
If pushed she will not hesitate to tell sis exactly why she is not interested
I can only liken her to a northern Julia Sugarbaker (Dixie Carter) from Designing Women.

SUN SPRITE:
'Because I said so' sure worked on me, too.
Also, 'I should say not' was another of my mom's answers.
(And she was a good mom, imo.)
No need for any 'why's or why not's. It was what it was.
And I turned out pretty good, too.
Better than some; maybe even better than many. (?)
Gave my parents no headaches whatsoever.
(Maybe too good, now that I'm thinking about it. lol. )

Like @hckynut said I have no problem saying no with a smile. If the person takes offense or gets angry so be it. Then they weren't anyone that important to me. I'm too old for games. I'm direct and if you don't like it too bad. No explanation required.

She's probably trying to pawn him off on you because she's sick of having to take care of him.
Even if you were interested, this guy sounds like a loser.

@GenXmuse ...... Had to chuckle at your answer. Didn't even think about the sister wanting to pawn him off on someone so she doesn't have to take care of him. Now that makes sense! Explains why she is contacting so many people and taking him with her to the reunion. Good thinking!

@GenXmuse She isn't tired of watching out for him. As far as she is concerned he walks on water and the ex-wives and such are mean and never appreciated him. Right.
I am way too old for this BS.
