@aj1980  Yes, agree with separate bedrooms. I also close my door and play rain sounds on a loop. My brother and SIL sleep on separate FLOORS!  When our kids visit next week I'll have to move back in with DH. I dread it, but he'll have to deal me with waking several times a night and reading my iPad.

I pushed him to get a sleep study, which resulted in a c-pap, problem solved.  He says I snore too, but once his mask is on he can't hear me.

I read an article today somewhere that Gwyneth Paltrow and her husband have separate bedrooms and a third for their marital relations.  Thought that was a good idea for the third to keep each other out of their private spaces.

* or maybe it was Cameron Diaz I get those two confused sometime.  Regardless third bedroom sounds like a happy marriage.

Anyone else try a vaporizer?

DS is young and in great shape but his last few visits, boy was he snoring!

I've got an old Vicks vaporizer with steam, not the cool mist. I fill it and add eucalyptus oil in the winter for my sinuses. I put it in the guest room for him and wham! No snoring!

I was the snorer.  Somehow DH managed.  Losing a bunch of weight and getting the Roto Rooter surgery (nasal polyps removal) cured me.

Your sleeping buddy needs to take this seriously.   Excess weight would be obvious but they may have sleep apnea or polyps.  Get it checked out asap.

I left our bedroom years ago...he snores.  i am guessing that if I had not moved to the spare room at that time I would have eventually.

We both have trouble sleeping really well anymore, and when I cannot sleep, the TV comes on....and he has to use the bathroom 1-2x. per night which would wake me.

Not really what I wanted to do but I need my sleep!
