I am dismayed tha so many are somehow expecting you to just shake it off since so many other things in the world are more important. I understand how irritating comments like this can be....the crack about using blush is an insult. No one likes insults. If your daughter see her again and she asks how you are, her only reply should be"she is fantastic! Couldn't be better!". She will be disappointed, but at least she heard something positive.

Nope, DD never married and gasp, she never wanted kids. She's smart, funny and just got a great promotion at work.

Yep, she stayed here after her Dad. died. She pays rent and does her  share around the house.  

DD doesn't give a rat's patootie.

I never understood why people get so appalled at someone not wanting children.

@CelticCrafter  I don't get it either.  She likes kids, although she is not one to make a beeline to a baby.

She makes a great Aunt and cousin.

She's especially close to one cousin and she would take her 3 kids to dinner and the movies a lot when they were young.  The kids loved it and they are crazy about her.
