A friend told me that years ago her backyard faced the woods. One night she looked out and saw the orange embers of a lit cigarette in the pitch black. She could never prove it was a neighbor peeping in but it still haunts her. She switched to blinds from a sheer curtain following the haunting experience.

@MoJoV He lived alone, so I would guess he doesn’t have a wife. I don’t know if he has kids. His house, by the way, was built in the 1870’s. It’s massive and is a historic home with a plaque on the sidewalk out front. It looks just like the Addams Family house from the old tv series. Super creepy.
UpState NY haven't lived there since 70's do visit sister owns rentals hstorical part city homes exactly what you described. Spooky large mansions.

I would like to know which person reported this? Why were they on this site like your neighbor?
I didn't think he would get charged.
Just cover your windows.

I've heard of a foot f e t i s h, but never a kitchen f e t i s h!

Keep in mind that he wasn't necessarily in his house when he photographed you as you are assuming. He could have been in YOUR yard, right outside your bedroom or bathroom window.

Reading this is a good reminder to close the blinds at night. I never used to think about it since I live on about 1/2 acre with all the homes sitting far apart, and the yard gate is always locked, but after reading this, it's a good reminder to be aware of what others can see.
I would think that if you are in your home and unaware of him taking photos, it would be some sort of invasion of privacy charge at the very least.

@Kachina624 That wouldn’t be possible. My kitchen is on the second level of my home, not the ground level.

I was thinking the same thing.

He probably used a zoom lens too.
