Check out if you can Paul McCartney with Jimmy Fallon from last night's Tonight Show. It was funny Jimmy and Paul were on a floor, the elevator doors would open and the people inside would get a brief glimpse of them, One woman tried to get off the elevator but was held back! I can't imagine getting that surprise of a lifetime.

@Jordan2  I remembered in time to watch about 30 minutes of the live stream.  Lucky fans!

I am listening to the new album for the 2nd time.  Amazon had it to me yesterday so I listened once last night.  Pretty good.   Not really what you would expect from a 76 year old!  Smiley Very Happy

I bought tix to a show in May this week too.  I think about 5 shows were announced last week for May/June.  I would think they will announce some more.  I am driving a few hours to see him but didn't want to take the chance that he would come closer to me.  I wish they would release the whole tour schedule at one time like they used to do.

Paul is amazing to see in concert!  I missed the Fallon show - need to look for it online.

We were able to see it on our MacBooks but it seemed to be the only thing that YouTube would not stream to our tv

It is still on You Tube for those that missed it

I spent my teenage years with the Beatles.  I haven’t cared for any of them solo since they broke up in the 60’s.

@Roni18, I didn’t watch the whole concert. I don’t know if you were aware, but it was scheduled to start at 8:00, it started closer to 8:30.

It was a bit painful to listen to him. He is losing his voice but I still adore him!

There are many 'stations' in NYC, I can't imagine them having a surprise concert at Grand Central during the chaos of Friday night rush hour !! Woman LOL

From today's NY Post:

"Paul McCartney is set to perform an invite-only show at Grand Central Terminal on Friday night to promote his new album “Egypt Station,” sources told The Post.

...On Friday morning, construction crews in hardhats were putting the finishing touches on a stage that was erected in the massive transit hub’s Vanderbilt Hall."

@Pearlee I know, I read the reports soon after I posted !! Only Paul could pull that off !! Woman LOL  I'll have to catch the concert on line.
