Patti Reilly was a good host

I enjoyed the tour of her house someone posted a link to awhile back.

Yes, she was a good host, I enjoyed watching her. I didn't see her home, but I'm sure it is lovely.

I hope you don't get bashed for just bringing her up. Some folks seem to be kind of moody today.

The host I miss the most is Lisa Mason.

She had a great enthusiasm for whatever she was selling and great sense of style. I remember she wore the most beautiful sweaters.

I liked her well enough. I never could figure out why people had such a problem with her, or decided they did not like her.

We never know the true inside story, but I figure if a host is good and is doing an adequate job, they would not be asked to leave unless they did something illegal or immoral.

Re: Patti Reilly was a good host

She was a beautiful girl who came to QVC and did well in the beginning.  Then she lost weight and believe it or not her personality seemed to change.  She flirted with the Clark's rep big time (who was male) which was very uncomfortable to watch.  She had on-going personal jokes going on with people off stage (which was uncomfortable and uninteresting to watch).  Her style of presenting items depended on how she was feeling that day (my opinion).  I began to watch her less and less as I couldn't get interested in the product with her presenting it.  Unfortunately, whatever was causing all this eventually made her a problem for QVC and therefore a problem with QVC's viewers.....  It was something that evolved.  I rather liked her in the beginning of her employment.  Later, not at all....

That is exactly how I rembered her.

I never cared for her, but to the extent I watched her, I did prefer her in her earlier days. Toward the end of her tenure, she often seemed off the wall and was not, for me anyway, watchable. I never found her to be particularly attractive, though she certainly was not displeasing. As for the recent video of her house, it appeared to be cozy and comfortable, but nothing particularly special.
