Re: Patti Boyd Harrison Clapton

Her autobiography and Eric Clapton's came out at about the same time.

Clapton is my all time favorite guitarist.

I read both - and it was interesting to read each one's point of view about their romance and lives.

Another really interesting insider read by one of the ladies of that era is "Faithfull" by Marianne Faithfull.  She also "got around" a lot, but she's a pretty fascinating character.

May I also put in a word for Pamela Des Barres' book, "I'm with the Band: Confessions of a Groupie." She was the original American groupie, and lived some experiences we all secretly wished we could, too.

Now that's the one I wanted to be.  I played Marianne Faithfull albums nonstop - must have driven my poor mother crazy!

This has been such a fun thread.  Makes me all nostalgic!
