Another one. How sad. I loved her duet with her father's voice on "Unforgettable."

IMO only the family members should be allowed to sing in recordings spliced together with the voices of late singers. I don't like it when current singers take recordings from the great singers of the past and insert their own voices to form a duet. Natalie could do this, because it was with her father.

Interesting tidbit when the duet was recorded: it was recorded in the same studio her father had recorded Unforgettable.

Her optimism amid personal struggles was inspirational. Her voice? Unforgettable.

Natalie Cole has died, reports the Associated Press and TMZ. She was 65.

"I think that I am a walking testimony that you can have scars," she told CBS’s Sunday Morning in 2006. "You can go through turbulent times and still have victory in your life."

She will be remembered for her voice and her life.  RIP beautiful child.  You have been called home to sing with your dad.  You are together again.  What beautiful music you will make together.
