Re: Parkland shooting deputy not guilty on all counts

I'm sure he was afraid but whatever he felt surely paled in comparison to what the children suffered.

What he did was immoral, unethical, and cowardly but, according to the jury, was NOT CRIMINAL.

Re: Parkland shooting deputy not guilty on all counts

The jury decided that he didn't do anything criminal.

Maybe people should put the blame on the shooter, where it belongs, instead of trying to find others responsible.

Well, people do blame the shooter for what happened.  However, this man was in a security position and failed to step up to his job when it was time to act and he was really needed.

I'll add to my own message here:  maybe it's not criminal to be a coward even if you hold a "security" position?  It's not negligence to not act or try to engage?

@scatcat   I am not sure he will but I am hoping he carries the burden with him all his life he did NOTHING, NOTHING to try to save even one life...a weak, pathetic coward.
