I agree with you. He may have felt outnumbered and had already called for help.

Just look at the way the police have been treating the PRESS in MO. - with their cameras running! They don't seem the least bit shy about defending themselves.

I really dislike generalizations about law enforcement.

For every officer accused of excessive force there are thousands upon thousands of outstanding officers who put their lives on the line every day for the public. They have families, pay taxes, go to church and love their community just like you and me. Get educated about what it really takes to be a LEO please. Go on a ride along, stop by your neighborhood station or talk to an officer you pass on the street and make a feeble attempt to get to know them at least for the moment and see these men and women as human.
