I do believe the older girl stands a chance.  Now that she's away more with college,  and away from Mom,  a lightbulb is coming on. 

 

As far as the younger one to me kids follow Mom lead in some things.  If they fall when little  and skin a knee if you get all worked up so will they.  They take their cue from you
