Pamela Anderson removing tattoo

She is removing one (said to be large) on her bicep of barbed wire.

It was said she got it done in 1995 for a movie. They were going to paint one on her arm every day, but she liked it and had it actually tattooed.

She has already made "Tommy" into "Mommy."

Good for her! These things can look so awful on aging skin, and they can represent another time where brain power may not have been actively used.

Boy, she has reinvented herself so many times. Like a cat. Nine lives. Strong, beautiful lady.

Ouch...that tat removal is going to hurt. It is big and all around her upper arm.

There is a current picture of her in one of my Kindle magazines. She has a short haircut, little makeup and looks beautiful & natural. I wish my skin aged like hers is.

She turned Tommy into a mommy?

She cut her hair very short last year and looked like a completely different person. Maybe she's just going through a passage in her life where she has different priorities. I don't see anything wrong with tatts. I've got one, and I love it, but mine isn't barbed wire. I can understand why she might want to get rid of that tatt.

I've wondered how well tats age as skin ages

I used to put on promotions at an amusement park. For some crazy reason, this park seemed to attract a LOT of grannies with tats.

Not just little ones on the ankle, but full sleeves and chests.

My friend and I were mesmerized (not in a good way!).

These women seemed to be in their 60s and 70s. I didn't even know that tattoos were popular way back then.

One of my son's GFs had a very large, thick black spiral radiating out from her belly button across her flat belly. It made me shudder to picture that tatt after a baby or two.
