Track Palin has been arrested for domestic violence for the second time in a year. This time, his victim was his own father Todd, who confronted Track with a pistol. According to the story Track was told not to go to the Palin household as he had been drinking and taking prescription medication. When Todd pulled a pistol on his son, Track broke through a window and beat his father.
I think this young man may have PTSD from his tours of duty and he's using alcohol and drugs to numb the emotional pain.
I hope Track gets the help he so desperately needs before he or someone else ends up dead.

Is this Track Palin from the Sarah Palin clan from Alaska? If it is, I can't stand those people. Hope the guy gets the help he needs and gets away from that goofy family.

Well, this should make for an awkward Christmas dinner.

He really injured his father, a head wound and other injuries.
I think the PTSD claimed by his mother may be the wrong diagnosis, or else it's that and other issues, too. Track was troubled BEFORE he joined the military. As I recall, the family thought the military might straighten him out.
I hope the dad isn't seriously injured.
ps Track's mom is the one who called the police for help.

I was going to ask what kind of father uses a gun to solve family issues when I thought of my ex-father-in-law who took out his shotgun and fired it into the air when his sons would argue.
I will never understand using a lethal weapon to shock/scare loved ones into compliance. A recipe for disaster.

The whole family seems to have anger issues...considering they have so much. I'm not understanding why the father had to pull a gun on his son, though. And Track still over powered him.

Maybe the father didn’t have a choice. The fact that he pulled a gun on his own son may reflect how out of control the kid was acting.

Weren't some members of this family involved in a well publicized drunken brawl last year?
Track may indeed be suffering from PTSD, but it appears that he may be a chip off the old block.

His family has to realize that he needs help. Maybe since he's been arrested, a third party will step in and get help for him. If I remember correctly, he was in a brawl with other members of his family a couple years ago. To attack your father is insane.

It seems the father knew he was coming. Track wanted dad's truck and demanded it in spite of his father refusing to give it to him. Perhaps they knew he was troubled and dangerous.
