We haven't painted our house in about 7-8 years and decided it was time. I love painting so I've been doing it myself. DH will do the ceilings and help with what I can't do. He's the furniture mover and dealing with the curtains/rods and all that stuff.

Well I used to be able to paint the living room, hall and kitchen in one day. I'm on day 2 and I finally got the living room done and painted around the woodwork in the hall. Tomorrow I will work on the walls. My poor body is screaming at me! I just don't remember painting being this hard...lol. Maybe because I was in my 50's last time and now am a few weeks short of 62. Oh how I miss the "good old days".

And I never realized how hard it is to paint with a great dane! His tail wags and there goes all the paint. It hasn't affected what I've done so far but I can just see the fun I'm going to have in the hall tomorrow. Happy dog and painted walls equals unhappy grandma! Keep your fingers crossed for me!!
